Linton Parish Council requested an extension on the deadline to comment on this planning application. This was not possible so an extraordinary meeting was called for the 26/6/25. This was also too late for planning, who sent the explanation below:
Good afternoon,
Thanks for your email. I always try and work with consultees to get an extension of time where possible. However, in this instance the applicant has not agreed to an extension of time until Friday.
I note that the Parish Council commented on the application following the initial consultation. Whilst no objections were raised, it was noted that the PC agreed with the concerns raised in the submitted observations. These observations have been taken into consideration and where necessary, have been addressed in the planning report.
The re-consult which has just taken place and since expired was simply to account for the fact that an existing drainage plan had been received. This sought to clarify where the applicant intends to drain to, and to demonstrate that a drainage solution is available. A detailed drainage plan is to be secured by planning condition.
Therefore, due to the absence of an extension of time and due to the fact that the only additional information is an existing drainage plan, which has been addressed in the planning report, it is considered that we shall proceed to determination.
Kind regards,
Emily
